Winter Awakens

I’m fortunate to work about five minutes from a beautiful park along the Grand River in West Michigan. It affords me convenient opportunities to snap photos before work, on lunch, and after work. This was sunrise the morning of our first significant snowfall of the season.
So serene and beautiful.
Thank you, Sandy!
Got goosebumps when I saw this! :O amazing
Thank you!
I live in West Michigan as well! Such a beautiful place to call home!
It really is–more than I realized even when I used to come here every summer as a kid to visit family. Now I live here–lucky me!
beautiful!
Thank you!
Great photo that really captures the mood.
Thank you! 🙂
Love this! Especially since we don’t get much snow in Eastern NC…I enjoy landscape photography very much!
Thank you! I grew up in the south, so I’m enjoying (and also learning to ensure 🙂 ) the snow.
Thank you! I grew up in the south and am living the snow now that I’ve moved North.
You are lucky 🙂
I agree! It’s beautiful up here 🙂
The reflections of trees and sunset on the still water surrounded by snow makes this photo beautiful and ever so calming.
Thank you for stopping by! This is one of my favorite spots to photograph.

Photography is often about being in the right place at the right time. When it happens, it seems effortless. Great shot.
Thank you very much! I totally agree about being in the right place at the right time.
