Nice shots. I like the simplicity of the second one, could have been taken from a space station. And love the frieze and (terra cotta?) decorative elements on the brick building — nice mellow brick with little lion heads, garlands or swags, and what appear to be ice cream cones (?)
Thank you, Robert! It has gotten a little hot here so I could have used some ice cream cones. This building interests me because the old brick belongs to the original hotel. The more modern (eighties?) part of the building was added on. You could say they clash, but I guess that’s the nature of different historical eras manifested in architecture 🙂
